In the first half of 2026, European healthtech investments were shaped by large capital rounds targeting AI-powered healthcare solutions, biotechnology, and medical devices. The ten biggest funding deals reached roughly €2.59 billion in total value, with capital heavily concentrated among a small number of companies. The United Kingdom stood out by attracting significant investment through major financial rounds.

AI-powered drug discovery firm Isomorphic Labs secured by far the largest portion of the capital. The firm obtained a $2.1 billion Series B investment to advance its IsoDDE molecular modeling platform, which studies molecular structures. This single transaction accounted for around 69 percent of the top ten deals. The second-largest investment went to Oviva, which offers tailored management plans for obesity and chronic conditions. The company announced a €200 million Series D transaction to expand its digital healthcare operations.

Other notable financings focused on biosimilar medicines, wearable devices, and remote monitoring technologies. Alvotech, which develops biosimilar medications, obtained €100 million in debt financing to scale up its manufacturing capacity. CeQur completed a $100 million Series E investment round to accelerate the commercial expansion of its wearable insulin delivery patches for diabetes management. Meanwhile, DentalMonitoring announced €84 million in funding to advance its software that enables dental professionals to remotely track patient progress. These capital injections continue to support the growth of automated diagnostics and chronic disease management across the European technology ecosystem.
