Claimlane, a platform providing aftersales product resolution solutions for brands and retailers, has secured 5.6 million euros in a Series A funding round led by Verb Ventures. Skagerak Capital and Vendep Capital also participated in the investment. The company plans to use the newly acquired capital to develop customer-specific AI agents and expand its operations in the United States.
Managing faulty or damaged products often involves complex processes due to disconnected systems among retailers, manufacturers, and suppliers. Claimlane aims to simplify these operations by unifying the different stages of warranty claims, repairs, replacements, and refunds into a single platform. The system allows all connected parties to share information, assess product issues based on warranty conditions, and coordinate necessary actions. Its current customer base includes companies such as Skechers, Black Diamond, tonies, and Hummel.
With the new funding, Claimlane will build AI agents tailored to customers' products, policies, supplier agreements, and workflows. These agents are designed to help aftersales teams reduce manual administration and handle cases more efficiently, while human involvement will be maintained for decisions that require judgment.
Anders Sommer, CEO and co-founder of Claimlane, stated that they see an opportunity to change the economics of aftersales by resolving issues in a way that earns trust and recovers more value from products. The company also plans to introduce industry-specific capabilities for sectors like electronics and furniture, and further accelerate its growth in North America, which has become its largest market for new customers this year.
