Nexus Luxembourg, the country's largest international business gathering, is set to return on March 9 and 10, 2027. Following a massive 2026 edition that attracted over 9,600 attendees from more than 80 countries, the upcoming summit will operate under the theme "Building AI, Sovereignty & Growth." Organizers state that the ambition for 2027 focuses less on expanding the event's size and more on achieving concrete operational reality, particularly regarding Europe's ability to build, buy, and scale trusted technological alternatives.
The program will revolve around critical tracks such as artificial intelligence infrastructure, digital sovereignty, cybersecurity, and the future of work. The established "4-in-1" setup remains unchanged, continuing to draw strong institutional backing, including the steady presence of Prime Minister Luc Frieden. Armand Thiberge, founder of the European SaaS unicorn Brevo, is the first confirmed speaker for 2027, with more industry leaders expected to be revealed in the coming weeks.
For founders, a major opportunity lies in the Startups & Scaleups Awards, featuring a grand prize valued at more than 125,000 euros. Approximately 240 selected global companies will compete across 12 tech categories, securing a chance to pitch live in front of key investors and corporate decision-makers. With applications open until November 16, 2026, the summit leverages the proximity within a 680,000-population nation to seamlessly bring government and international founders into the same hall, turning high-level discussions into tangible business opportunities.
