According to reports from CNBC and the Financial Times, Blue Origin plans to conduct its next New Glenn rocket launch in January 2027. This schedule update is based on an internal memo sent to staff by the company's CEO, Dave Limp. The newly revealed timeline provides an updated framework for the aerospace company's highly anticipated upcoming orbital missions.

The revised launch schedule follows an explosion that occurred at the New Glenn launchpad in May. This incident damaged the launch facility ahead of a planned flight that was intended to bring Amazon Leo satellites into space. Following the damage to the infrastructure, the company has now formally updated its timeline for the rocket's next journey to orbit.

During an interview with Fox News in October, Blue Origin founder Jeff Bezos mentioned that the company was aiming for a December launch for New Glenn. At the time, he joked that the launch could take place on "probably December 31st." However, the newly revised launch window is approximately 10 days later than Blue Origin's previously stated target, according to the CNBC report.
